This group is a platform for Desi women to meet new friends, get to know them better and create a better world for one another. While we hang out together to have fun and gossip, we also plan for activities that help us develop our skills and talents and find our own place under the American sun. I know! I know! There is but one sun. Yet, don?t we all go through the process of re-inventing ourselves, learning and unlearning as we start our lives in a new land? A lot of us have been there and now found a niche for ourselves. A few of us are still working towards that goal and some are still struggling. We welcome one and all to be part of this group to share your experiences, help others and be helped and make a home away from home.
Some of our features include, a web community that looks out for you, local chapters across the nation, career counseling for H4s and new immigrants, welcome package when you move to a new place, interesting volunteering opportunities, Moms club and other advantages like group discounts etc.
